About

A little bit about myself:

I am a born and raised Seattleite. I have a long, extensive background in dance as a performer and educator. This background has cultivated in me cherished values that I take into my approach as a therapist:

  • an interest in exploring and encouraging self-expression

  • authentic connection to one’s self and others

  • and, as many therapists say … ‘a felt sense of the body’.

I find deep meaning in working with clients who are navigating grief, trauma, childhood wounds, anxiety, depression and relational issues. Furthermore, I deeply value helping my clients navigate being human in the complexities of our modern world.

In my practice, I have found that building trust with clients by strengthening the therapeutic bond is deeply effective in engaging in the therapeutic process and helping clients reach their goals.

In my sessions, I use evidence based approaches while offering moments of hope in a collaborative manner to tackle my clients presenting issues.

I am always pleased to see a blend of approaches in therapy encourage movement toward change and growth in the lives of those who come to see me.

If I sound like I might be a good fit for you, please send me an inquiry - it would be an honor to work with you.

With gratitude,

Erika
